“Inspiration im Alpenstädtchen”

— BR Klassik

Nestled in the breathtaking Alpine village of Mittenwald—Germany’s historic center of violin making—the Karwendel Music Festival was founded in 2016 with the vision of bringing world-class music and mentorship to this remarkable setting.

Over the past decade, the festival has grown into a vibrant international gathering for renowned artists and emerging talents. Through inspiring concerts, masterclasses, and collaborations, musicians from around the world have come together to share their artistry and learn from one another.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we look back with gratitude on this journey and forward to continuing to enrich Mittenwald’s musical life and inspire the next generation.
