OUR MISSION

At Karwendel Music Festival, we believe classical music is a living art form that should inspire, connect, and enrich communities across generations. Our mission is to present exceptional musical experiences that honor the enduring beauty of the classical repertoire while making it accessible, engaging, and meaningful for today’s audiences.

Rooted in the heart of Mittenwald, we are equally committed to celebrating and advancing the town’s internationally renowned violin-making tradition. By bringing together outstanding musicians, master luthiers, local partners, and visitors from around the world, we aim to strengthen Mittenwald’s cultural identity and ensure its remarkable musical heritage continues to thrive for generations to come.
