Walter Ehrlicher, born in Ingolstadt in 1961 and raised in Mittenwald, is a poet deeply connected to the cultural life of the region. His work is strongly influenced by Romanticism. Several of his poems have been set to music by composer Adolph Kurt Böhm, and he continues to contribute to literary and musical events in the Werdenfelser Land.
